Layout

Qualifying puts you in certain heat races, based on where you qualify.  The top 4 from qualifying will automatically advance to the Dash and are guaranteed a starting spot in the A-Main.  Each heat race will be 8 laps.  The winner of each heat race will advance to the Dash and be guaranteed a starting spot in the A-Main.  The second place finisher of each heat race will advance to the A-Main in starting spots 8-10.  Heat race finishers in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th spots will be placed in the B-Main.  The B-Main will be a 10 lap shootout.  Only the top 6 from the B-Main advance to the A-Main, in positions 11-16.

The 7 racers competing in the 5 Lap Dash will race 5 laps to determine the top 7 starting spots in the A-Main.

The winner of the 5 Lap Dash has the option to start at the rear of the field for the A-Main.  If that racer comes from the rear to win, he will receive a bonus award plus an award for each person that he passes on his way back to the front.  If he does not win, he will receive an award for everyone he passes in the A-Main.

5 Lap Dash

The top 4 from qualifying and the winner of each heat race will compete in the 5 Lap Dash.  The finishing order of this race will be the starting order for positions 1-7 in the A-Main.  The winner of the 5 Lap Dash-4-Cash will also receive $50.

The Challenge

The winner of the 5 Lap Dash (the pole sitter for the A-Main) has the option to start at the rear of the field in the A-Main.  If he decides to start at the rear of the field and he wins, he will receive a bonus for each person that he passes during the A-Main and he will receive a bonus for winning the race from the rear of the field.  If he starts at the rear of the field but does not win, he will receive a bonus for each racer that he passes during the A-Main.  If he does not chose to start at the rear of the field, the option is given to the outside pole sitter (runner up in the 5 Lap Dash).  The same bonuses are awarded to the outside pole sitter if he chose to start at the rear of the field.  Only one of the two can chose to start at the rear of the field.  They MUST start at the rear of the A-Main if they accept the challenge.

B-Main Race

The B-Main will have 12 karts starting in it.  The top 6 finishers will advance to the A-Main.  Everyone else is eliminated at this point.  Finishers 7th and 8th from the B-Main need to stay until at least the start of the A-Main.  If someone does not show up on the grid, finishers 7th and 8th from the B-Main are the back ups.  In the event that someone does not show up at the grid for the A-Main, the replacement will start at the rear of the field for the A-Main.  If one of the two racers on the front row of the A-Main wish to take the challenge, the replacement will start 1 position ahead of the racer taking the challenge.  The B-Main will be a 15 lap race.

A-Main Race

The A-Main will have 16 karts max starting the race.  The top 4 qualifiers are guaranteed a starting spot in the A-Main.  The top 2 finishers from each heat race are guaranteed a starting spot in the A-Main.  Finishers 3rd-5th in each heat race have to finish in the top 6 of the B-Main in order to start the A-Main.  The A-Main will be a 30 lap race.
