In an effort to increase awareness in our Junior racer program here at Dacosa Speedway, we are adding a GUARANTEED BONUS to the 6th Annual Dynamic Electric Firecracker Shootout to certain junior classes.

A GUARANTEED BONUS of $100 will be given to the winner and a GUARANTEED BONUS of $50 will be given to the runner-up of the following classes:

Junior 1
Junior 2
Junior 3
Sportsman Champ 1
Sportsman Champ 2

All Junior 1, Junior 2, Junior 3, Sportsman Champ 1, or Sportsman Champ 2 racers have the chance at winning $500 - 16 karts must be entered per class.

All spots are up for reserve.  To reserve a spot, contact Dallas Schwerin at (901) 494-7392.  Spots are 12 feet wide and unlimited in length.  There are non-reserved pit spots, you do not have to purchase a reserved spot.  You cannot leave a trailer at the track on Friday night unless you reserve that spot.  All trailers left at the track over the night of Friday, July 4th, must be in a reserved spot.  Gates open at 3:00 on Friday afternoon, close at 10:00 on Friday night, and open again at 8:00 on Saturday morning.

A camping spot must be bought if an RV, camper, tent, etc, is going to stay at Dacosa Speedway on Friday or Saturday night.  A camping spot may be used as a pit spot.  RVs, campers, tents, etc. can sit in that spot for up to 2 days after the race.  RV, camper, and tent spots do NOT have power or water hookups. 

Reserved pit spots are $15.  Camping spots are $15 for Friday and Saturday night.  RVs, campers, tents, etc are welcome to spend a night at Dacosa Speedway.

Only 16 karts will start the feature of each race.  If there are more then 16 registered in a class, only the top 16 qualifiers will advance to the features.

All WKA Motor Rules apply

NO OUTSIDE FIREWORKS allowed.  The track is providing the fireworks for the show at the completion of the features, so keep your fireworks at home.  Anyone caught with fireworks will be asked to put them up the first time.  After the second time, they will be asked to leave immediately.

NO REFUNDS ISSUED after June 28th.  If the race gets rained out, all entry fee money will be returned.

Pre-registrations must be post-marked by June 28th.

A guaranteed bonus of $100 to the winner and $50 to the runner-up is being given to the following classes:  Junior 1, Junior 2, Junior 3, Sportsman Champ 1, Sportsman Champ 2.

The Kart and Driver Show 2008
This is a best appearing show, highlighting the kart, the driver, and the crew!  Enter for your chance to win $100 and a plaque!  Hints for winning this are the following:  kart should be clean and orderly, driver should be helping with adjustments, and the crew should have matching uniforms.  You do not have to fulfill these, they are merely hints!  The cost is $10 per kart.  No early registration is needed, just sign up at the track!  One flat kart winner and one champ kart winner.
