If you are racing in Junior 1, Junior 2, Junior 3, Sportsman Champ 1, or Sportsman Champ 2, dust off that kart and get ready to tackle the high banks of Dacosa with some of the finest asphalt racers!

A BONUS of $100 will be given to the winner and a BONUS of $50 will be given to the runner-up of the following classes:

Box Stock classes

Animal motors and flathead motors will mix in the following classes:  Junior 1, Junior 2, Junior 3, Sportsman Champ 1, Sportsman Champ 2, and Junior Champ.  The lighter weight on the above classes is for flathead motors; the heavier weight is for animal motors. 

Important Tech Announcements!

1)  We will be using the 2008 WKA and IKF motor rules package for the Spring Classic in ALL CLASSES.  Box Stock/Clone classes must run the AKRA motor rules package.
2)  In order to provide fair competition in the Junior Champ class, all competitors racing with an animal motor must race with the 3 hole gold restrictor plate.
3)  All competitors should review the Classes/Prices page and the Rules page to become familiar with Dacosa Speedway policies.

Prices:

Pre-registration:  $50 - Must be postmarked by the pre-entry deadline
At-track registration:  $60

Pit Pass:  $10
Friday practice:  $10 per kart
Reserved parking:  (weekend) - $15
Reserved camping spot:  (weekend) - $15

General Admission
Friday:

12 years and under:  FREE
13 years to 17 years:  $5.00 per person
18 years and older:  $10.00 per person

FREE SPECTATOR FEE veterans and those currently serving in the armed forces

Pit spots:

All spots are up for reserve.  To reserve a spot, contact Dallas Schwerin at (901) 494-7392.  Spots are 12 feet wide and unlimited in length. 

There are non-reserved pit spots, you do not have to purchase a reserved spot.  You cannot leave a trailer at the track on Friday night unless you reserve that spot.  All trailers left at the track over the night must be in a reserved spot.  Gates open at 1:00 on Friday afternoon, close at 7:00 on Friday night, and open again at 12:00 noon on Saturday.

A camping spot must be bought if an RV, camper, tent, etc, is going to stay at Dacosa Speedway on Friday or Saturday night.  A camping spot may be used as a pit spot.  RVs, campers, tents, etc. can sit in that spot for up to 2 days after the race.  RV, camper, and tent spots do NOT have power or water hookups. 

Reserved pit spots are $15.  Camping spots are $15 for Friday and Saturday night.  RVs, campers, tents, etc are welcome to spend a night at Dacosa Speedway.

Layout/Notes/Rules:

Only 16 karts will start the feature of each race.  If there are more then 16 registered in a class, only the top 16 qualifiers will advance to the features.
