Information

Dacosa Speedway is a highly banked, paved tri-oval.  The track is located just below Collierville, TN, in Byhalia, MS.  It is about 30 minutes east of Memphis, TN.  The racing surface is 30 feet wide on the straight-aways and 40 feet wide in the turns.  There is plenty of run-off area all around the track and there is also a “soft-wall” in use in critical areas of the track.  There is a concrete stage/pre-stage lane as well as a concrete off-ramp.

Friday Night Extravaganza will be held on Friday, May 24th

Gates open at 5:00 p.m.
Practice from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Driver’s meeting at 7:00 p.m.
Heat races starts at 7:30 with features to follow.

Entry fee:  $20 per class, 100% payback
Points event for the 2013 Race to Your Dream Series

Adult GA and pit pass:  $10
Minor GA and pit pass (12 and under):  $5

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CLONES!
Dacosa Speedway will purchase fuel from the Exxon at Highway 302 and Byhalia Road – about 5 minutes from the track.  This fuel will NOT be available for sale but will be used for tech purposes.  It is encouraged (but not mandatory) that all racers purchase fuel from this station.  Purchase of fuel from this station DOES NOT automatically mean your fuel is legal.

PIT SPOTS!

Reserved pit spots are available for the year.  There are a total of 20 spots – 6 concrete with power and 14 grass spots.  The concrete spots with power can be reserved for $100.  Gras spots can be reserved for $60.  This reserves your spot for the entire year (even the Spring Classic, Firecracker Shootout, and Fall Classic).  For the first race, Saturday, March 2nd, all pit spots will be first-come, first-served.  In order to reserve, call/text Dallas at (901) 494-7392 or send an email to dacosaspeedway@hotmail.com.

CASI CHILI COOK-OFF – September 21st

The second CASI Chili Cook-off will be held on Saturday, September 21st.  Gates will open at 10:00 a.m.  Cooks can register at the track on the day of the event or earlier by sending your information to dacosaspeedway@hotmail.com.  Competition rules can be found at CASI’s website:  www.chili.org.
